"body_md": "## Problem\nTell me about a time you took on something that was outside your job description because it needed to be done. What was it, why did nobody else own it, what did you do, and what was the measurable result? This is an **Ownership** leadership-principle question; every Amazon loop interviewer in Cairo is assigned two or three principles and this one appears in almost every loop. I will ask follow-ups until I have concrete data: numbers, dates, what you personally did versus the team.\n\n## Examples\n**Example 1 (strong)**, \"Our deploy pipeline had been flaky for months and everyone worked around it. I spent two evenings tracing it to a race in the artifact upload step, fixed it, added a retry with a clear log line, and deploy failures dropped from about 20% to under 2% over the next month. I also wrote the runbook so on-call could handle the remaining cases.\" Personal action, data, long-term thinking.\n\n**Example 2 (weak)**, \"I always take ownership of my tasks and make sure they are done on time.\" That is your job, not ownership beyond it, and there is no story.\n\n## Constraints\n- STAR format, two to three minutes, in first person singular (\"I\", not \"we\")\n- Numbers are expected: before/after, time saved, users affected\n- Have a second Ownership story ready; if the first is weak they will ask for another\n\n## What they look for\nActing without being asked, thinking long term over a quick patch, honest about what you did not do, and a result you can quantify. Interviewers write your answers down verbatim, so be specific and consistent across rounds.",
