One-Way Video Introduction

What they ask

The first filter for most roles (software testing, support and integration, junior engineering) is a recorded one-way video interview, not a live call. You get an email with a link and a 24-hour window. The instructions are specific: sit in a quiet room, good lighting, stable internet.

There is usually a single prompt:

Introduce yourself.

You get about one minute of recording time and up to three attempts, and you can answer in English or Arabic. For the support and integration role the prompt is a little wider: who you are, what you studied, and what you have been doing since graduation.

After you submit there is a wait, typically around two weeks, before you hear anything.

What they look for

• Structure in 60 seconds: name, background, one or two relevant things you have done, why this role. Do not try to fit your whole CV.
• Clarity over polish. A calm, clear answer in Arabic beats a nervous one in English.
• Basic professionalism: framing, background noise, looking at the camera.
• For testing roles, one sentence about what kind of testing you have done (manual, API, mobile) helps the reviewer route you.

Use the three attempts: record once, watch it back, fix the pacing, record again.
