YPP Aptitude Assessment
SAP interview question (Egypt) · stage: Online Assessment · domain: Aptitude & IQ · difficulty: Easy · asked once, last in February 2025
What they ask
The Young Professionals Program in Cairo is a free, full-time training track for recent graduates that ends in SAP associate certifications and introductions to partner employers. Getting in is a four-step funnel: online application, a short phone screen of about ten minutes, an online assessment, and a video interview. The whole thing has taken around seven weeks end to end.
The assessment is the step most people worry about: 40 questions in 45 minutes, so just over a minute per question, mixed across three areas:
- IQ-style questions: number series, odd-one-out, pattern matrices.
- Reasoning: logical deduction ("if all A are B and some B are C ..."), simple data interpretation from a table or chart.
- English: reading comprehension, sentence correction, vocabulary in a business context.
A typical reasoning item: five people sit in a row under three constraints, who is in the middle. A typical numeric item: continue 3, 7, 15, 31, ?.
What they look for
- Speed with accuracy. There is no published penalty for wrong answers, so answer everything and do not stall on one puzzle.
- English at a professional level, since the training and the partner interviews are in English.
- Consistency with the phone screen: they compare your stated background with how you perform.
Do one timed practice set the night before, on a laptop, with the same one-minute-per-question pacing.
